The certification consists of three parts:
Theoretical classes and fundamental diving concepts. Practices at sea in a protected area will teach you the basic skills and knowledge needed to dive to a depth of 18 meters, including equipment handling, investment planning, and safety techniques. Open water (practical) dives will help you obtain the certification.
